Hi! :) I'm Kelsey O'Brien, Thanks for checking out my site! :) I'm an actor, writer, director, producer, vegan, environmentalist, animal advocate, humanitarian, zumba/yoga/fashion lover, and rescue cat mama :) Yup, I'm a lot of stuff, and I also like to overuse smiley faces :)
I grew up in NJ and received a BA from Saint Leo University in English Writing, Theater, Dance and Art. I then continued my studies in New York at NYU (New York University), UCB (Upright Citizens Brigade), The PIT (People’s Improv Theatre), and with the LAByrinth Theater Company master program.
I've appeared on TV and in films along side Oscar, Emmy winning and such known actors such as Alysia Reiner, William Forsythe, Stacy Keach, Stephen Baldwin, Kevin “Dot Com” Brown and Grizz Chapman.
In 2013 I started my own production company, Kelc Productions. I wrote, produced, directed and starred in my first short film, A Good Friend. It went on to multiple festivals including Soho Intl’ Film Fest and New York CIty Intl’ Film Fest. Enchantments is the first feature film that I produced, wrote directed and starred in. It was highly anticipated and New York Magazine did an article about it before we even began shooting, and it just went on to win Best Picture for the first festival it screened at! :)
I most recently shot a webseries that I co-wrote with Angela Cohen and I co-directed with Emmy award winning CD Kim Graham. I can't wait to share that soon! :)
